From Your First Message to Lasting Transformation
Heal the Roots… Change the Fruits
If you’ve ever wondered what it actually feels like to work with me—not the brochure version, but the real, human version—this is it.
The journey below is a reflection of the experiences I share with many of my clients. Every story is unique, but if parts of this feel familiar, there’s probably a reason you’ve found yourself here.
It often begins quietly.
Maybe it’s 11pm and you’re lying awake while your mind replays the same worries over and over again.
Maybe it’s the knot in your stomach before a meeting that shouldn’t feel this difficult.
Maybe you’ve started avoiding situations, conversations, or even parts of yourself that once felt effortless.
You’ve probably tried to explain how you feel. Some people haven’t understood. Others have tried to fix things too quickly. Some simply haven’t had the time to truly listen.
This is where your journey begins—not with answers, but with someone who genuinely listens.
1. It Starts with a Conversation
The first step is usually simple.
A message.
An email.
A discovery call.
What matters most at this stage isn’t what you say—it’s how you feel.
There is no pressure. No judgement. No expectation that you should already know exactly what’s wrong or have all the answers before asking for help.
Before becoming an RTT therapist and coach, I spent 25 years working in the NHS, supporting people through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Sitting with frightened, anxious and uncertain patients taught me something no textbook ever could—that people heal best when they first feel safe, heard and understood.
That’s exactly what I want you to experience from our very first conversation.
2. Discovering the Root Cause
Our first RTT session is often where everything begins to make sense.
Rather than simply managing symptoms, we’ll gently explore the subconscious beliefs, experiences and emotional patterns that may have been shaping your thoughts, feelings and behaviours for years—often without you even realising it.
For many people, this is the moment where everything clicks.
Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?”
They begin asking,
“Ah… so that’s why I’ve always felt this way.”
That understanding alone can feel incredibly freeing.
Because when you understand the root, you stop blaming yourself for the fruit.
3. Creating Lasting Change
This is where RTT becomes so powerful.
Once we’ve uncovered and transformed the root cause, your subconscious mind is ready to begin creating new, healthier patterns.
For some people, the shift feels immediate. They leave the session feeling lighter, calmer or free from something they’ve carried for years.
For others, the transformation unfolds gently over the following days and weeks as they listen to their personalised hypnosis recording and reinforce the new beliefs we’ve created together.
Every journey is different.
What matters is that you’re no longer fighting the symptom alone. The root has been addressed, allowing genuine, lasting change to begin.
4. Supporting Your Transformation
Healing isn’t about becoming perfect.
It’s about becoming free.
Over the following weeks, your personalised hypnosis recording continues supporting the work we’ve done together, helping your subconscious mind strengthen the new beliefs and behaviours you’ve chosen to create.
You’ll also know that you don’t have to navigate everything alone.
Whether it’s follow-up support, additional sessions, or becoming part of the Soul Comfort community, you’ll have a safe place to continue growing at your own pace.
Progress isn’t always linear.
There may be moments where you need reassurance, encouragement or a reminder of how far you’ve already come.
That’s completely normal.
Real transformation isn’t about never wobbling—it’s about knowing you now have the tools, awareness and confidence to move forward differently.
5. Living with Greater Freedom
Then, one day, something remarkable happens.
You notice that the thing which once consumed your thoughts no longer has the same hold over you.
Maybe you respond differently.
Maybe you feel calmer in situations that once overwhelmed you.
Maybe you simply realise you’ve become the person you used to wish you could be.
Sometimes that transformation happens in a single session.
Sometimes it’s something you notice gradually as life begins to feel lighter.
Either way, the change is real.
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about reconnecting with the version of you that was always there beneath the fear, self-doubt or old patterns.
That’s what Soul Comfort is all about.
Not perfection.
Freedom.
